Humboldt County is home to a large, diverse group of artists
working in many different media and styles. Several artists,
representative of this diversity, have been asked to contribute
essays on "being an artist" — their views on what it's like
to be an artist and how they approach their art, "from the inside."
Over time, we hope to have a substantial collection of these essays to offer on this web site.
